The Love and Guts Art Collective from time to time creates a skate related theme that most of the artist within the collective as skaters relate to first hand, if not were instrumental in establishing it within skate culture itself.

For 2017 the theme is the very unique world of Australian Skate Spots.

Without exception wherever skateboard culture takes hold it is affected by the local skate spots and the skaters who establish them.

Australia has a long rich skateboard history and through the years its skaters have discovered, built and dreamt of a staggering array of spots such as Pymble Pool, Geehi Dam, Manly Skate City, Skatetopia Milton, Coles Ramp Mooba, Prahran Ramp, Pizzey, Five Dock, Corio Skatepark, Mona Vale Ramp to name a very few. These spots serve as places to meet up, share new ideas with like-minded people, push the creative skate collective and to be one with the skateboard. We encourage viewers to ask the artist about these unique skate spots and the stories behind them.
